VertaTech Solutions is Verta Group's technology venture. The work falls into four areas: networking and IT infrastructure, security systems and CCTV installation, custom software development, and mobile app development.

That combination is deliberate. Most businesses don't need one of these in isolation — a security system needs a network to run on, a piece of software needs infrastructure it can rely on, and a mobile app is often the front end for something bigger happening underneath. VertaTech is built to handle that whole stack rather than handing a client between three different vendors.

VertaTech has delivered more than 15 commercial projects to date, spanning networking and security installations, custom software builds, and mobile applications for clients across different sectors.

The flagship project is MED21, a large-scale healthcare preventive system — one of the more ambitious builds VertaTech has taken on, aimed at helping catch health issues earlier rather than later. It reflects the same principle Verta Group applies across the group: pick a real problem and build something that actually holds up in use.

Verta Group's founder, Bramwel Obae, built a career in information technology — including hands-on IT and technical roles — before Verta Group existed as a group at all. VertaTech is where that background lives inside Verta: a place for technical work judged on whether it makes something genuinely easier to run, not on how impressive it sounds.

Technology is the connective tissue across Verta Group. VertaTech's experience with software, networks and infrastructure informs how the group approaches every other venture — including the digital experiences being built inside Verta Afya and Kilimo Hub.
